This week, our Lower PET students explored the remarkable story of “Two Stuntwomen: Amanda Foster & Dayna Grant”, while our Lower FCE students read the inspiring story of “A Fairy Tale of New York – Tarzan of Central Park”. Both stories sparked meaningful conversations and boosted confidence in reading and speaking.

This week, our Lower KET students took a reading trip to “The Town of Totnes”, picking up real-world vocabulary and building those brain muscles! Meanwhile, our FLYERS students dived into Unit 4: The Cooking Competition, a fun-filled, story-packed challenge that had them reading, writing, speaking, and listening like little language champions!

Education today looks nothing like it did 20 years ago and that’s a very good thing. In this blogpost, we dive into how learning has transformed over the years and why it’s more dynamic, flexible, and exciting than ever.

This week, Ms Evelyn reflects on the beauty of growing old and the deep respect we owe to our elders. A value she’s carried since childhood and now passes on to the next generation at ILTI.
As we begin Term 3, we’ve also had the chance to sit down with parents during our Parent-Teacher Meetings, celebrating our students’ growth from the previous term. Just like the wisdom shared by the elderly, these conversations remind us how important it is to nurture, guide and honour every stage of life. Meanwhile, our students spent five lively mornings last week in an English Speaking & Conversation Bootcamp — building confidence and fluency through fun, hands-on activities like role plays, group discussions, and storytelling. Each day brought a new theme, making language learning both engaging and meaningful.
