WRITTEN WORK BY OUR YOUNG LEARNERS
Here in ILTI, we pride ourselves on teaching our children how to speak and write well in English. However, educating goes much further than the by-the-book method. We like to nurture creativity in our young students and encourage them to express themselves. Here are a few short paragraphs written by our young learners!
MY FAVOURITE CARTOON CHARACTER
BY CHONG JIA XIN, 6 YEARS OLD, STARTERS
This is my favourite cartoon character. She is from Happy Friends. She wears a pink dress. She wears pink boots. She wears pink gloves. She also wears a pink helmet.
She likes to cook. She is very sweet. Happy Friends help people. They can fly.
FOUR SEASONS BY MOVERS
CHAN MIN XUAN, 9 YEARS OLD
I like spring because the flowers grow big and smell good.
ONG POH BOON, 9 YEARS OLD
I like summer, because I can play at the beach.
CHIN SHU HAN, 8 YEARS OLD
In autumn there are lots of leaves falling down. Autumn leaves are yellow, green and brown.
HO XIAO ROU, 9 YEARS OLD
I love winter, because there is lots of snow and I like to play in the snow. It’s also cold.
HAUNTED HOUSE
BY KOK NAM LOONG, 10 YEARS OLD, FLYERS
This is a haunted house from 1980. It was left by an old professor. The people that come in the house will not live. There is a killer clown in the haunted house.
The clown’s weapon is an iron cane. He will kill people who come in the house. But he wouldn’t go out of the house. Police try to catch the clown, but die too. So, there is nobody who wants to go into the house. They are frightened of the clown.
