Big achievements begin with small steps! 🌱

As Dr Evelyn, our Director of Education, reminds us, progress starts small. With consistent practice and the support of parents and educators, our children can build strong academic foundations to prepare them for an unpredictable future, as encouraged by Ms Caroline, our Principal of ILTI.

At our Weekend Group Class, every lesson is an opportunity for learners to strengthen their speaking, reading and writing skills. Week by week, little steps turn into meaningful progress!

✨ Curious to see how far our learners have come? Read on to discover their learning journey!

📚✨ It’s time for Issue 118! Week 3 of Term 4 was filled with learning, laughter and little moments that made our week special! 💙

Our Flyers and Lower FCE learners travelled through the world of words as they explored reading topics on shopping 🛍️ and travelling ✈️. Along the way, they picked up new vocabulary and strengthened their word-building skills. Every page brought something new to learn!

And when it was time for a break? It was all about friendship, fun and good food! 🥰 From playful moments with friends to enjoying warm packed meals from home, these little breaks made their day even sweeter. 🍱

To all our amazing ILTI parents, this one’s for YOU! 💙👏 Thank you for always supporting your children throughout their learning journey! 🌟

Happy World Smile Day! 😊

As we celebrate World Smile Day and spread kindness, let’s also remember to take care of our mental health. As our Director of Education, Dr Evelyn Chen, reminds us, everyone, especially our students, should feel comfortable talking to someone they trust, such as our teachers and staff at ILTI.

Some highlights from our KET classroom lessons:

• Lower KET took part in a group discussion about the extent of smartphone technology.
• Upper KET focused on developing their vocabulary and speaking skills through the topic “What Are You Up To?”

Looking forward to more learning and happy moments this week!

It actually means “response-ability” — your special power to choose how you act, speak and help others. And when our ILTI students show commitment, responsibility and dedication in everything they do, they are truly wearing their superhero capes! 🦸✨

This week, our ILTI students are entering the final stretch of Term 3. With their examinations just around the corner, our learners are busy preparing and putting their best efforts into every lesson.

From Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking to Grammar, all five skills will be put to the test!

Keep going, ILTI learners! Your hard work today is building the confidence you need for tomorrow. 💪📚

It’s a special week as our Merdeka season reaches its highlight, with Merdeka Day just around the corner!

As we speak, we have reached Week 8 of Term 3 and our learners are gearing up for their upcoming examinations.

Our Movers continue to develop their guided reading and writing skills based on a series of pictures, our Flyers revisited their learning through engaging read-and-match activities, just to name a few.

Classes continued as usual but we had some extra joy as our learners sang along to patriotic songs while proudly waving the Jalur Gemilang. We couldn’t be prouder of our learners!

Selamat Hari Merdeka from all of us at ILTI!

Our Pre-Starters learners enjoyed exploring the topic “Let’s Play After School!” as they developed their ability to talk about familiar activities, games and hobbies in simple English.

Meanwhile, our Upper CAE learners explored the exciting world of crime fiction and thriller writing. They read “Do You Enjoy a Good Thriller or Detective Novel? Thought of Writing One?” and discovered some useful advice for aspiring writers.

At ILTI, we believe learning English can take you anywhere. Through stories, reading and interesting topics, our learners discover new ideas, new words and new perspectives.

Every week brings a new adventure — one story at a time!
